Event Coordination

The Event Services team is a group of highly motivated and energetic event planning professionals committed to working with you to create a truly memorable event. All external groups holding an event at Boston University will be assigned an Events Specialist to work with you. Your Events Specialist will be your sole liaison with all the University service departments, providing you with a “one-stop shopping” experience.

Services We Provide

Audio-Visual Support

A podium microphone? Projection for your computer presentation? No problem. Enhance your event with customizable equipment supported by professional technicians. Services include projectors, monitors, sound reinforcement, and audio recording services. Zoom and webcasting services are also available.

Food & Beverage

Great food and stellar service are the key to every successful event. And BU is second to none. Whether it’s a continental breakfast prior to your meeting, a coffee break, an opening reception, or a black tie banquet, our award winning catering team is ready to assist you. Learn more about BU Catering. Your Events Specialist will be happy to prepare a comprehensive catering proposal especially for you.

Parking & Transportation

Limited onsite parking can be purchased in-advance. Conveniently located near the MBTA, Green Line, C branch, “Hawes Street” stop. “Getting Here” provides all the ways to get to 43 Hawes.

Registration Services

The key to a great event or conference is great people. We offer online event registration in addition to our full event coordination services. Our tech-savvy and client-focused staff can develop a sleek and effective registration site, facilitate secure payments, provide skilled on-site support, and ensure smooth sailing from the earliest birds to the last-minute walk-ins. We can manage your guests and provide a streamlined registration experience, regardless of the location.
