    1. Great question Ron. Yes, we are deliberately choosing a healthy, mobile population. A large percentage of the research done on modern foot function has been done on those who have trouble/pain while walking. There is considerably less information on the “normal” range of variation on both foot form and function. It is extraordinary to see the variation in our Museum visitors- all (most?) of whom are walking around the Museum with no problems whatsoever.

  1. I am aware of at least 3 different walks that I employee om a daily basis. Is there any attempt to control for the differences between ‘demonstration walks’ and the other types of walking people do?
