Department of Political Science
The Department of Political Science is home to 28 full-time and affiliated faculty members with diverse methodological and theoretical approaches to the study of politics. The Department has an abundance of teaching and research experience in American politics, political theory, comparative politics, and international relations. In addition, it offers training in both qualitative and quantitative methods.
The Department is also comprised of approximately 60 graduate students, nearly 500 undergraduate majors and over 50 declared undergraduate minors. Each year approximately 2,700 students enroll in political science courses at BU, making these courses among the most demanded at BU.
