Upcoming Event – Faith and Climate Change: Towards a Research Agenda

Join the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS), and the Institute on Culture, Religion & World Affairs (CURA) for a panel discussion exploring the moral dimensions of climate action and the possible role of faith-based values in encouraging positive environmental and climate behaviors. Announcing the Fall 2024 Global Health Politics Workshop Series

The Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future is pleased to announce the Fall 2024 schedule of talks in the Global Health Politics Workshop speaker series. Convened by Prof. Joseph Harris (Department of Sociology), the monthly series brings together leading social scientists from the disciplines of anthropology, political science, and sociology to advance the understanding of health phenomena in a globally interconnected world. Pardee Center Mourns the Passing of Visiting Fellow Pablo Suarez

The Pardee Center mourns the unexpected passing of Pablo Suarez, a long-time Visiting Research Fellow, collaborator, and friend. For more than 15 years, Pablo frequently and generously shared his magnetic personality and infectious energy with the Pardee Center community. He was an innovative thinker who brought a unique mix of creativity and humor to his work on risk communication, climate change, development, and humanitarianism. Read more.
