Irene Monasterolo Speaks at Two Conferences

Irene Monasterolo, a post-doctoral associate at the Frederick S. Pardee Center for the Study of the Longer-Range Future, traveled to Italy to present her research at two recent conferences.

On September 17, she presented a paper titled ‘Modelling fiscal and monetary policy strategies for fostering green investments: a system dynamics model with heterogeneous agents’ at the 27th Annual Conference of The European Association for Evolutionary Political Economy (EAEPE), held at the  University of Genoa. On September 18, she also presented a paper titled ‘Coping with the coming food climate: applying complex system thinking to model risk for global food security’ at the Expolab conference within Expo 2015 at the Catholic University of Milan.

In early November, Monasterolo will present a paper titled ‘Mapping the climate finance governance network in the Eurozone’ at the Global Cleaner Production & Sustainable Consumption Conference in Barcelona.
