2011 Pardee Graduate Summer Fellow Featured in BU Lecture Series

Mulderig photo2011 Pardee Center Graduate Summer Fellow M. Chloe Mulderig will give a lecture on Monday, October 20, 2014 as part of the Walter Rodney Seminar lecture series. Her presentation is titled “Social Sanctioning and Religious Subjectivities Among Young Women in Fes, Moroco.”

M. Chloe Mulderig is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Anthropology at BU. She received her M.A. in Near Eastern Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies and her B.A. in Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies from Dartmouth College.

The lecture will be held at 232 Bay State Road, Room 505 from 12-1:30p.m. More information can be found here.

The Walter Rodney Seminar lecture series was inaugurated in the fall of 1977, at the initiative of two doctoral candidates in BU’s Political Science department. It was named after Walter Rodney, the Guyanese scholar and political activist murdered in his native country in 1980. The Walter Rodney Seminar lecture series is sponsored by the African Studies Center at BU.
