The American concussion expert who is conducting post-mortem analysis on the brain of an elite Australian rugby league player says a test to detect a head trauma-related disease on living athletes is ”very close”…

”There’s been more funding allocated to CTE research in the last year than in the history of the world, I think. It’s exciting to see that more researchers are working on this because it’s a big problem.”
