New Faculty Networking Event

WIN has teamed up with Dr. Beverly Brown and Sloane House to present a networking event for new STEM faculty.  The point of this event is to introduce the new faculty to a larger network including other new STEM faculty, continuing STEM faculty, BU administration, and those outside of BU whom the new faculty would like to meet.

Each new faculty member is encouraged to think of 3 contacts in other departments at BU or in companies or Universities in the great Boston Area to invite to the event.  The event staff works with the new faculty to send the invitation on behalf of WIN and Dr. Beverly Brown.  The new faculty’s mentor and department chair are invited to attend the event as well to help our new faculty successfully network.

The 2010 reception will took place on Friday March 25th at Sloane House from 4:00-6:00pm.  This was the last networking event to be funded by the WIN grant.
