Prof. Joyce Wong received a Mary Erskine Type I award to host Yvette Madrid, a specialist in global health, in order to begin work that will lead to a collaborative NIH grant application on the topic of HIV/AIDS detection. She also received a Mary Erskine Type I award to support the development of  web-based platform to  facilitate and enhance collaborative research projects and enable continuity in research by establishing a knowledge base accessible by current and past students and collaborators.
