Building a Bridge?
As part of the ongoing renovation of Warren Towers, on January 25 a crane transported large steel beams to be used for the work over the roof of 111 Cummington Mall. The steel beams, 80 feet long and about 53,000 pounds (give or take), will be used as a bridge to support a connecting tower, allowing construction workers and materials access to the building.
