Newbury Center Celebrates Grand Reopening
The newly expanded Newbury Center’s reopening celebration, and 4th birthday party, was held January 22. The open house included a dinner, a DJ, raffles, and giveaways. President Melissa Gilliam spoke and several students shared their love and appreciation for the center. Students and guests contributed to an art installation that will be on display at the center when it’s completed. The space now has individual offices for staff, a conference room, and a newly expanded multipurpose area for studying or gathering. The goal of the center, at 755 Comm Ave, is to foster “the holistic success of first-generation students at Boston University.” Photo by Cydney Scott
