Advice to Class of 2017: “Stay Idealistic”

Faculty, staff share some guidance for graduating seniors

To the Class of 2017: first, a word of congratulations. Commencement is around the corner. But before you march onto Nickerson Field to receive the degrees and certificates you’ve worked so hard to earn, we suggest that you listen to some words of wisdom—and encouragement—for life post-BU.

To each of this year’s 6,568 students who will become official alumni on May 21, we extend our best wishes. Good luck to every one of you.

Loved viewing my favorite, Professor Cassell, but wanted to see more of him–he is so inspiring and his “comfortable shoes” is so spot on and I think more meaningful than anything else mentioned. Thrilled to at least see him have the last line, fittingly.
