Note: If you have just been migrated to Exchange Online, we expect you will need to delete and re-add your account to your Android device using the following steps.

These instructions might vary slightly across devices and versions, but are expected to be helpful to all users of the Android OS. You can also refer to this video to set up email on an Android device.

  1. Navigate to Settings.
  2. Under Accounts, select Add Account.
  3. Depending on your version of Android, select either Corporate or Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.

  4. Enter your complete e-mail address, which is login@bu.edu (where login is your BU login name.)

  5. Enter your Kerberos password.
  6. Click Next.
  7. If prompted enter outlook.office365.com for the server address.
  8. If prompted check Use Secure Connection and Accept All SSL Certificates.

  9. Set your Account options such as Days To Sync, Notifications, Sync Contacts, Sync Calendar.

  10. Click Done.
  11. Click Activate to activate device administrator.

  12. Name the account to distinguish between multiple accounts.
