Student Public Health Reporting creates reports and dashboards that facilitate the monitoring of specific issues pertaining to the health of Boston University students. This includes high-level and longitudinal trend reporting to support strategic operations and responses to public health emergencies.
Benefits
Student Public Health Reporting enables senior, medical, and research leadership to access trend and monitoring reports regarding BU’s student public health and compliance information without providing access to protected record-level information. This type of landscape reporting provides the ability to monitor and take pre-emptive action needed to respond to public health challenges.

What to Expect
This service normally will be available 24 by 7 except for standard change windows, as described in IS&T’s standard policies, procedures, and schedules for making changes.
Requirements
- Access is based on business roles and demonstrated need.
- Requests for data or reporting will be reviewed, evaluated, and approved by the President, Provost, senior medical professionals, and/or the Data Trustees.
- HIPPA compliance training and IRB approval may be required.
