Chris Sedore 

Chris Sedore joined Boston University as Vice President of Information Services & Technology and Chief Information Officer in August 2024.

Chris has extensive experience in strategic leadership and operational excellence within the field of information technology. Before joining BU, he managed a $60 million IT organization with a staff of 280 at Tufts University, overseeing areas such as administrative and clinical systems, educational technology, and information security. 

Prior to his role at Tufts, Chris was Vice President and CIO at the University of Texas at Austin, and President and CEO of the New York State Education and Research Network. He spent over 20 years at Syracuse University, where he held various positions, including Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer.
