In order to determine how your Posts are displayed, please follow the directions below.
- Navigate to your site’s Dashboard.
- Select Site Design on the left side of the screen.
- Select Widgets from the expanded section.
- If BU Posts is already under a section on the right, then skip to step 6.
- Select the BU Posts box from under Available Widgets. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the box until in a sidebar on the right, then release.
- Next to BU Posts is a gray arrow pointing downwards. Click this down-pointing arrow to show more options.
- From here you can set a number of options for your new widget, including its display title, what categories are displayed, how many posts are shown, and in what format you’d like the posts to appear.
- When you’ve set all the options you’d like, click the Save button.
NOTE: Both the BU Posts widget and the WordPress Recent Posts widget only display recent posts. In WordPress terminology, that means 6 months. Posts with publication dates older than 6 months will not show up on widgets. (If you need a workaround to this limitation, you can always re-edit the post and give it a more recent publication date.)
