Taylor Kim
Resident Sustainability Leader
Why I became an RSL:
I became an RSL because I saw the stark difference in environmental funding and initiatives between the city I came from (ATL) and Boston. I am passionate about environmental justice and wanted to do my part at BU’s campus through BU Sustainability. The RSL role is responsible for the outreach on campus when encouraging environmental consciousness, and I believe that any small action can make a big environmental impact!
What I hope to accomplish:
Something I hope to achieve through this position is growing student engagement in BU sustainability projects. This includes increasing awareness in research funding like the seed grant or encouraging students to join clubs as a part of the Environmental Leadership Network (ELN). My goal is to spark more conversations around environmental sustainability amongst my fellow peers.
