As Director, Margaret oversees and supports the overall work of the Student Activities Office. She advises student leaders on planning, budgeting, and coordinating events for the Boston University student body, as well as supporting them through training, leadership development, and Executive Board transitions. In addition she advises the Allocations Board, Fraternity & Sorority Life, and various campus initiatives.

Margaret found a real passion for student advising and program planning in her first job with the National College Advising Corps, and time spent volunteering for her sorority at Pennsylvania State University. She completed her Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration at Boston College (don’t hold it against her!) and worked in their Office of Student Involvement. Additionally, she is actively engaged with ACPA, serving as the Co-Chairwoman of the Coalition for Women’s Identities (CWI). Margaret joined SAO as an Assistant Director in August 2019 before advancing to Associate Director in August 2021. Since January 2024, she has served as Interim Director, gaining extensive experience across all facets of the department, and was promoted to the Director position in January 2025.

Growing up in Massachusetts, Margaret inherited a love of the New England Patriots, seafood, and Dunkin Donuts. She is a big bookworm and is always looking for new suggestions for books (and movies and new Netflix shows).
