The Network for Professional Ed: Director Bronwyn Keefe Introduces The Trainers Hub
The Network at BUSSW has developed an exciting opportunity for BUSSW alumni to share their expertise with a wide variety of organizations through The Trainers Hub. Network Director Bronwyn Keefe shares details about this new credentialing program that will certify social work alumni to become trainers for The Network’s growing professional education offerings.

The Trainers Hub will give [alumni] access to new revenue-generating opportunities and enable them to expand their impact in the field of social work practice. They can also leverage the BUSSW brand at the same time that they’re building their own brand. Trainers will get more mileage nationally from having a BUSSW trainer title, and they can maximize their contribution to our profession by building the competencies of this critical workforce.
“Some people may say, ‘I already have all this training experience.’ My feeling is that when it comes to lifelong learning, there’s always a little bit more we can build upon. The three-course certificate, which provides 10 continuing education credits, will help them become a more multifaceted professional in the end. The true impact will be in creating a strong workforce that can improve the lives of the people we work with and create partnerships with community-based agencies to further their goals.
