Lab & Pharmacy

Lab Tests

Lab testing is conveniently located within SHS. We partner with LabCorp, which provides on-site blood draw services and coordination of advanced lab testing.

You can get certain rapid test results directly at SHS, including those for strep, COVID, flu, urinalysis, and pregnancy. For other types of tests, your sample will be sent to an outside lab for processing, and a healthcare provider will follow up with you about the results.

The cost of lab testing depends on your health insurance. If you have SHIP, lab testing and blood work at SHS are covered and there is no additional cost to you. If you have another health insurance plan, contact your insurance provider to find out what costs are covered.
