Background
Sara Ladino Cano has a BA in History and Spanish with a concentration in Spanish and Latin American Literature from Hunter College. Her main areas of interest involve XXI century Central and South American literature and contemporary history of Latin American wars. Women narratives are part of her focus, and her current area of research explores testimony in Colombian literature, especially in the context of Colombia’s conflicts.
