Simpson Writing Fellow
Rachel is pursuing a double major in Architectural Studies and Spanish, with a minor in Urban Studies. She is interested in how cultural memory shapes people’s relationships with place, a topic she explores in her honors thesis on historic preservation in El Salvador. Rachel is passionate about using her bilingual background to bridge perspectives in her research and empowering other heritage speakers to do the same. She has studied abroad in Venice and Madrid and serves as Head of Public Relations for LatinasBU.
