Graduate Student in French
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Ian McDavid is a graduate student pursuing a PhD in French Language and Literature. His research interests include the history and impacts of France’s colonial empire, the far-flung diaspora of francophone populations worldwide, and the literature of Marcel Proust. Before arriving at Boston University, Ian completed a bachelor’s degree in World Languages and Literatures at the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
