
Part-time Lecturer in Spanish
Helena Talaya Manso studied Art History in Valencia, where she earned her bachelor’s degree, and she obtained her Ph.D. in Hispanic Studies from the University of Houston, Texas. She has extensive experience teaching Spanish classes in both Spain and the United States. She has published numerous articles, books, and book chapters on her research topic: cultural studies in post-Franco Spain.Simultaneously passionate and active in seeking resources on narratives where the image plays a predominant role, she currently serves as the president of ALDEEU, the Association of Spanish Graduates and Doctors in the United States.
