
Part-time Lecturer in French
Félicia Gouy was born and raised in France. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Sciences from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon. She specializes in sociology and sociolinguistics and is particularly interested in the study of regional and minority languages in France and throughout the world. Her subjects of study include the role of linguistic ideologies in language teaching, and the construction of language policies, with a particular focus on the Maori language of New Zealand and the regional languages of Brittany, France. During her time at the ENS de Lyon, she also developed a keen interest in teaching French as a foreign language.
Her interests include French literature, hiking and baking.
