Graduate Student in Spanish
Erika Villalobos Torrijos is from Mexico City. She is a PhD candidate in the department of Romance Studies at Boston University. She earned a Law degree, and then continued her studies focusing on literature.
Villalobos holds a BA in Language and Hispanic Literature from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), an MA in Teaching Spanish from UNAM, and an MA in Hispanic Studies from the University of Western Ontario. Her research interests include Diaries, Memoirs, and Autobiographies of Mexican writers during the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as gender and sexuality.
