Graduate Student in French
From Houston, Texas, Elizabeth Woods is a PhD candidate in the department of Romance Studies at Boston University. Her research interests include 19th and 20th century Francophone political literature, focusing on the relationship between language and political dialogues. She is specifically interested in comparing how this relationship manifests within French and Francophone West African cultures. Before coming to Boston University Woods taught English for two years at a Lycée in northeastern France.
