Impacting Organizations & Communities Workshops

A summer 2025 professional development workshop series free and open to all BU PhD and MA students doing work in the humanities. The series will include three workshops to be held in June-July, 2025. Initial orientation session: May 6, Tuesday, 5:00-6:00 PM, CAS 132 Whether your career path leads to working within or outside of academia, your responsibilities will involve leading, collaborating, and communicating within organizations and communities. Feedback, trust, management, and group work are fundamental to teaching, scholarship, and success in numerous occupations. This workshop series is designed for graduate students working in the humanities to enhance their professional and organizational skills to further career prospects in all fields. Workshop topics will include:. ● Giving and Receiving Professional Feedback; ● Building Trust and Relationships through Story-telling; ● Managing Teams and Projects.
