George Mason University – Hispanic Review
Hispanic Culture Review (HCR) is a bilingual academic journal distributed by George Mason University. The purpose of the annual publication is to contribute to Mason’s multiculturalism by creating cultural links between the university’s community, persons, and institutions involved in the creation and diffusion of Hispanic culture in the United States, Latin America, and other nations where Spanish is spoken.
HCR publishes essays, brief narrative, visual arts, and poetry related to the Hispanic world.
Theme for the upcoming issue is: Together We Adapt. HCR invites writers and artists to think about the concept of “adaptation” and how you have approached and been affected by it. Much will be written of Covid-19’s impact and how the shared adventure of living through a pandemic has remade our lives, but we also encourage writers to explore the various meanings and definitions of adaptation within their personal experiences and their communities.
