Vinces Defends Dissertation
Mike Vinces, doctoral student in Hispanic Language & Literatures, has successfully defended his dissertation, titled “Espiritualización del tigre Lugoniano: Leopoldo Lugones, precursor del populismo moderno Latinoamericano.” The dissertation examines the complicated literary and political legacy of the Argentine writer Leopoldo Lugones (1874 – 1938). Vinces is expected to graduate in May 2021.
