Nogales Publishes Two Books

José Luis Nogales, a fifth year student in our Hispanic Language & Literatures program, has published two books, both critical editions of short story collections by Mexican writers.

José tells us:

“These two books are critical editions with an introduction and notes, and they are both interconnected: not only because I worked on them at the same time, but because they are dedicated to two Mexican friend writers who belonged to the same generation, shared some literary characteristics, a mutual experience for a period of their lives, and similar artistic interests. These works are result of my longstanding interest in Mexican literature of the second half of the twentieth century and, in particular, of my work on Sergio Pitol. Working on these projects was a great and enriching experience for me.”
