González Arias Publishes Article
Francisca González Arias, lecturer in Spanish, has published an article titled, “Música de ópera’ de Soledad Puértolas: contrapunto de voces de mujer.” The piece is a study of the most recent novel by the contemporary Spanish novelist Soledad Puértolas. It appears in a recently published collection of essays, La agencia femenina en la literatura ibérica y latinoamericana.
Francisca tells us, “I have been studying the work of Soledad Puértolas, member of the Real Academia de la Lengua, for many years. My translation into English of her second novel Bordeaux was published by the University of Nebraska Press.”
