Nogales Researches at Princeton Libraries
José Luis Nogales, a fourth year student in our doctoral program in Hispanic Language & Literatures program, won a Princeton University Library Research Grant to study this summer at the Department of Rare Books & Special Collections at Princeton. He used the time to conduct research toward both his dissertation and a critical edition of Sergio Pito’s short stories that he is working on.
José tells us:
My experience there was great. The Princeton archive is incredible: I had the opportunity to consult collections of some of the most significant Latin American writers of the past century, such as Carlos Fuentes, Sergio Pitol, José Emilio Pacheco, Augusto Monterroso, and José Donoso.
