ERC: Dissertation Boot Camp
This Spring, the Educational Resource Center is offering a week-long intensive version of its Dissertation Writing Group called the ERC Dissertation Boot Camp. This boot camp will provide all of the structure of our writing groups with even more time and support! Students chosen to participate in the camp will have at least five hours of structured writing time every day and will receive the benefit of one-on-one consultations with ERC Writing Fellows and curated workshops on writing strategies, time management, resilience, and more.
Eligible students should have successfully defended their dissertation proposal (or had it approved) and made considerable progress on their dissertation by the start of camp. The camp will meet Monday, May 13-Thursday May 16 9:00-3:30 and Friday, May 17 9:00-1:00 in room 545 of the Yawkey Center for Student Services. There is a required application, and the deadline to get that completed is Sunday, April 21st at midnight—participants will be selected based on their anticipated completion date, stated boot camp goals, and to ensure a breadth of disciplines within the group.
