CTE Research Changed the NFL, But the Fight Isn't Over

BU faculty are at the forefront of research into chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE), a neurodegenerative disease associated with repetitive head trauma. Their work has had profound implications for understanding the risks of CTE and its impact on football. This year the National Football League instituted new rules and equipment to respond to years of research, but experts say it's not enough.
