Bridge Construction: July 26-August 11, 2018
Starting July 26 and ending August 11, Commonwealth Avenue will be closed to private vehicles between St. Marys and St. Paul Streets. BU Physical Therapy will remain open during the construction. Bus, Bike, and pedestrian access will also remain open throughout this time. Patients with appointments scheduled during construction should allow for extra travel time due to delays. Harry Agganis Way and Parking Lot A will remain open and fully accessible for parking.

- Green line service will be replaced with shuttle buses between Blandford Street and Babcock Street. All shuttle bus stops will be accessible to those with disabilities. For BU Physical Therapy, take the shuttle bus to the St. Paul Street stop.
- MBTA Bus Route 57 will continue to operate and will be permitted to travel through the construction zone. For BU Physical Therapy, use the Pleasant Street stop.

- BU Shuttle Bus
- The BU Shuttle bus will continue to operate and will be permitted to travel through the construction zone. For BU Physical Therapy, please use the C7 stop: College of Fine Arts.

- Pedestrian/Bike Access
- Commonwealth Avenue will be open for anyone walking or biking to the BU Physical Therapy Center.
Driving Access
Commonwealth Avenue from St. Paul St. to St. Marys St. will be closed to private vehicles during this time.

From Storrow Drive Westbound
Take the Kenmore Square exit onto Commonwealth Ave. and merge left onto Beacon Street. Continue on Beacon Street and turn right onto Pleasant Street. Continue straight until you reach Commonwealth Ave. and proceed straight through the intersection onto Harry Agganis Way and Parking lot A (Note: Raising Cane's will be on your left).
From I-90/Storrow Drive Eastbound
Option 1
- Utilize the Cambridge/Somerville exit and take a right to merge onto Storrow Drive Eastbound. Take the Kenmore Square exit onto Commonwealth Ave. and merge left onto Beacon Street. Continue on Beacon Street and turn right onto Pleasant Street. Continue straight until you reach Commonwealth Ave. and proceed straight through the intersection onto Harry Agganis Way and Parking lot A (Note: Raising Cane's will be on your left).
Option 2
- Utilize the Allston/Brighton exit and turn left on Harvard Ave. Turn left onto Brighton Ave at the light. (Brighton Ave. turns into Commonwealth Ave). Continue on Commonwealth Ave and take a left onto Harry Agganis Way and Parking lot A (Note: Raising Cane's will be on your left).
From the West- Local Roads
- Follow your normal route until you reach Packard’s Corner in Brighton as this is a low impact zone. Once you reach Packard’s corner continue on Commonwealth Ave and take a left onto Harry Agganis Way and Parking lot A (Note: Raising Cane's will be on your left).
From Cambridge
Option 1
- Utilize Memorial Drive and take the Mass. Ave Bridge to Kenmore Square. In Kenmore Square, merge left onto Beacon Street. Continue on Beacon Street and take a right hand turn onto Pleasant Street. Continue straight until you reach Commonwealth Ave. and proceed straight through the intersection onto Harry Agganis Way and Parking lot A (Note: Raising Cane's will be on your left).
Option 2
- Utilize Memorial Drive Westbound and exit onto Western Ave. Continue on Western Ave and take a left onto North Harvard Street. Proceed on North Harvard Street and take a right onto Cambridge Street. Turn left onto Harvard Street and then turn left onto Brighton Ave at the light. (Brighton Ave. turns into Commonwealth Ave). Continue on Commonwealth Ave and take a left onto Harry Agganis Way (Note: Raising Cane's will be on your left).
From Downtown-Local Roads
Option 1: Coming from Downtown Boston
Take Commonwealth Ave. and merge left onto Beacon Street. Continue on Beacon Street and take a right onto Pleasant Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection of Commonwealth Ave. and proceed straight through the intersection onto Harry Agganis Way. (Note: Raising Cane's will be on your left).
Option 2: Coming from BMC
Take Harrison Ave and turn right on Melnea Cass Blvd. Follow to Tremont St and turn Left, then Right on Ruggles St. Continue until the road changes to Park Drive. At the intersection of Beacon St., turn Left. Continue on Beacon Street and take a right onto Pleasant Street. Continue straight until you reach Commonwealth Ave. and proceed straight through the intersection onto Harry Agganis Way and Parking lot A (Note: Raising Cane's will be on your left).
Option 3: Coming from Longwood Area
Follow Longwood Ave. and take a right onto St. Paul Street. Proceed and take a left onto Beacon Street, followed by a right onto Pleasant Street. Continue straight until you reach Commonwealth Ave. and proceed straight through the intersection onto Harry Agganis Way and Parking lot A (Note: Raising Cane's will be on your left).
