
Derek Fulker
Senior Training Associate
Derek completed a Post Compulsory Teacher’s Training Certificate at Brighton University (UK) and other teacher training courses during the 90’s while working as a Taoist Internal Arts Instructor (mainly Tai Chi Chuan, Qigong, Taoist Meditation). Derek came to the USA and BUCPR in 2002. His responsibilities at BUCPR are developing classes teaching and advising students; classes include Internal Arts; WRAP, IMR, Writing and Recovery, Art, Computer Classes, Cognitive Remediation, Embracing Loss, Photovoice and performance-based classes such as Dance, Improv and Theater. He was responsible for organizing our student “Talent Shows” and producing and editing of our student Newsletter, “The Center”.
