Compliance with the Protection of Minors Policy

Compliance with the Protection of Minors Policy and Protection of Minors Procedures is represented in the picture below. Requirements of the Protection of Minors Policy includes Background Checks, Training, Waivers of Liability signed for each Minor participating in programs, Mandatory Reporting (even for faculty, staff, and the entire BU Community), Designated Responsibility and Roles for ensuring compliance, and Compliance with Federal and State Laws. Third Party Owners and Operators have additional responsibilities, including a Written Contract with the University, and Insurance Minimums.
