Jali Griesbach | President of Operations
Public Relations and Political Science Dual Degree | Class of May 2022
Originally from Wisconsin, Jali came to Boston University to be in a bustling city and to learn from the best at COM. She works with clients from technology, trade association and healthcare sectors as a public affairs and crisis intern at BCW Global. Previously, she worked as an intern for a U.S. Congressman and as a membership representative at WBUR. Jali is passionate about understanding an organization’s mission and building community relationships. After graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in public affairs or issue advocacy. In her free time, Jali enjoys taking yoga classes and trying new Boston restaurants with friends.
Isabelle Fama | President of Client Service
B.S. in Communication | Public Relations Emphasis | French Minor | Class of May 2022
Isabelle Fama is a senior pursuing a B.S. in Communication with a focus in Public Relations and a minor in French. Isabelle is passionate about branding, writing, and social media marketing. She has worked as a copywriting intern, a social media manager, and an Account Supervisor at PRLab. Most recently, Isabelle worked as a public relations intern at 360PR+. Following her May 2022 graduation, Isabelle aims to work in an agency setting and focus on amplifying the voices of organizations that she believes in. Outside of work, Isabelle can be found performing with the Boston University Dance Team and watching reality TV with her friends.

Miya Denison | Director of Diversity and Inclusion
M.S. in Public Relations | Class of December 2022
Miya Denison is a graduate student studying public relations. Originally from Newport News,
Virginia, Miya came to Boston University for undergrad. During her time at BU, she was a
member of the field hockey team and was also a captain for two seasons. In addition to playing
field hockey, she was a member of the Bloom Family Leadership Academy and was an account
executive for Partners for Youth with Disabilities for PRLab in spring 2021. In her free time,
Miya can be found trying new restaurants around Boston and exploring the city on the Charles
River esplanade.
Sonali Koul | Director of External Affairs
M.S. in Public Relations | Class of May 2023
Born and raised in India, Sonali comes from a culture deep-rooted in storytelling. With over three years of work experience in the Indian PR industry, she chose Boston University to streamline into the strategic side and further her career in communications marketing. She specializes in media relations, communication strategy, industry intelligence, and account management for consumer and corporate clients. She loves music and culture and highly values her experience of working for bold storytellers like Spotify, Levi’s, and Nike in India. Apart from her work, Sonali is passionate about dance and is keen to pursue different forms of the art form throughout her life.
Kylee Nguyen | Director of Social Media

Originally from Vietnam, Kylee decided to come to BU to pursue a degree in PR with a minor in Journalism. She has previous PR experience in technology, entertainment, as well as food & culinary. Last semester, Kylee was an Account Executive for PRLab and is excited to continue working to nurture the beneficial relationships between clients and their audience. She is currently the President of the College of Communication Student Government and a social media intern at the Hariri Institute at BU. In the future, Kylee hopes to further her career in brand or corporation communications at an agency.
Anushree Sahay | Director of Development
M.S. in Public Relations | Class of December 2022
Anushree is a first-year grad student majoring in Public Relations and home for her is New Delhi, India. Initiating her career at MSL India, a Publicis Groupe agency, Anushree has three years of professional experience in PR and Public Affairs domain, where she learned that real education lies beyond the classroom. At MSL, she had the opportunity of servicing companies across industries such as Airbnb, Dubai Tourism, Royal Enfield, Fujifilm, and Haier, among others. Being in the middle of leading global giants essentially made her realize her love for brands and the stories that are driven to market them. Speaking like a true spokesperson, she talks brands, she breathes brands and she thinks brands. Moving on from the brands, a little more about her would be that she enjoys writing, is an obsessive neat freak, sunset lover, binge-watcher, foodie, and a newly self-proclaimed cook. At BU, she’s currently the Communications Assistant at BU’s Clinical Translational Science Institute where she is responsible for branding and marketing their community engagement program. At PR Lab, Anushree intends to bring her passion for storytelling to the classroom.

Matt Cramer is a junior at Boston University pursuing a B.S. in Public Relations. Previously, Matt worked as an intern for a Silicon Valley-based medical device company. Leading their marketing efforts, he designed an original rebranding campaign and presented it to the company’s executive board. He has served as Senior Editor of a local newspaper and is a published author and award-winning writer. Additionally, Matt is passionate about social service and building strong communities. He spearheaded several community service programs and led fundraising efforts for the Alzheimer’s Organization. Matt also has a passion for languages, history, and art. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and reading about the latest industry trends.
Lily Roeller | Account Supervisor
M.S. in Public Relations | Class of December 2022
Originally from New Haven, Connecticut, Lily came to BU after earning her B.A. in Communication and Sociology from the University of Connecticut. Prior to starting graduate school, she worked as a digital marketing assistant at SCS Direct Inc., a niche marketing company for consumer products. There, she managed a portfolio of international Amazon Ads and implemented social media ad campaigns for new product launches. This semester, Lily is also serving as a Senior Editor on The COMmunicator. After graduation, she plans on pursuing a career in brand or consumer communications. In her free time, Lily enjoys hiking with her dog and watching movies.
Violet Nowak | Account Supervisor
M.S. in Public Relations | Class of December 2022
Violet Nowak is an account supervisor and master’s student studying public relations. Prior to
attending Boston University, she earned bachelor of arts degrees in psychology and journalism
concentrated in public relations at the University of North Texas. She is passionate about the
sports and nonprofit industries. Her previous work includes positions at the Dallas Area Rape
Crisis Center, the Texas Collegiate Hockey Conference, UNT Ice Hockey, and Revolution Thrift.
She also has an interest in research and has contributed to multiple media-focused academic
papers examining topics such as female athletes’ perception of how media covers their sport
and how local governments communicate information about COVID-19 on their websites. In her
free time, Violet enjoys watching hockey and playing guitar.

Kayleigh Ventrone | Account Supervisor

Kayleigh is from Pittsburgh, PA. She earned her B.A. in Communication with a minor in
French from Seton Hill University in 2021. During her time at Seton Hill, she discovered
her enthusiasm for Public Relations and decided to pursue her M.S. in PR to gain
specialized knowledge of the field. Currently, she is the marketing graduate assistant at
FitRec, where she runs the student marketing team. Last semester, she created and
implemented FitRec’s reopening campaign, FitRec101. Previously, Kayleigh had the
opportunity to work for a small women-run, woman-owned business, where she found
her passion for working for purpose-driven organizations. Whether she is planning a
new campaign or executing corporate communications, Kayleigh is passionate about
using her PR skills to craft impactful messages and inspire action. In her free time, she
can be found exploring a museum or curled up with her cat and watching New Girl.
Alexa Andanar | Account Supervisor
Public Relations and International Relations Dual Degree | Class of May 2022
Originally from Manila, Philippines, Alexa came to Boston to study Public Relations and International Relations. Over the summer, she interned for Macias PR, a boutique agency where she worked on media outreach, media placements, and content creation for clients. She was an account executive for Rose & Dove, a Boston-based boutique, where she helped execute PR strategies to increase brand awareness during the pandemic. In the future, Alexa hopes to carry her PR knowledge in areas such as politics and non-profit. Outside PR, she loves to explore new cities, try different restaurants and cafes, and hang out with her friends.

Coming from Singapore, Christine is a sophomore at Boston University studying Public
Relations with additional interests in Psychology and Speech Pathology. In the past, she has
worked as a PR assistant for RNWY Magazine and as a digital marketing/communications
intern for organizations within the start-up and non-profit sectors. At BU, she currently serves as
a social media content creator for StuGov’s mental health committee and is also part of the
creative and digital team under BU PRSSA’s Unleashed PR agency. This past fall, she further
participated as a volunteer for PR Lab’s ProBono event. In her free time, you can find her
laughing at relatable TikToks, traveling, editing videos, singing with her guitar, and spending time
with friends. She is excited for the new experience of becoming an account supervisor and can’t
wait to learn and grow!
Rico Qiang | Account Supervisor
Public Relations and Film & Television Double Major | Class of May 2023
From Hangzhou, China, Rico is a junior student double majoring in Public Relations and Film & TV. At Boston University, she was an Account Executive for Aaron’s Presents at PRLab. She and her teammates successfully increased AP’s social media engagement, built effective connections with reporters, and held a dance workshop at the BU campus. Rico also volunteered in the Chinese Students and Scholars Association as the Vice President of the Public Affairs Department for two years. She was in charge of event planning and publicity. Outside of academics, Rico is enthusiastic about films. She can watch more than 130 films a year and produce microfilms by herself. Rico is also a hard-core superhero fan and wholeheartedly believes that “with great power comes great responsibility.”
