The Office of the President is pleased to announce the launch of the Presidential Student Advisory Group. Beginning in September 2026 and convening throughout the year, the group will engage with President Melissa Gilliam and her leadership team in conversation about the student experience and emerging opportunities, helping design future pathways for our institution.
The Presidential Student Advisory Group will be comprised of current undergraduate and graduate students. All members are expected to attend monthly in-person meetings during both the fall and spring terms and will serve for one year. Members should bring diverse sets of experiences, engagements, and perspectives that they can use to contribute to constructive roundtable discussions.
The application deadline has now passed. Applications are currently being reviewed, and group members will be announced later this summer.
