Estelle Brun is a Ph.D Candidate in the Political Science department at Boston University (BU) and a Graduate Student Affiliate at the Center for Innovation in Social Science. Her research explores the relationship between political mobilization and various realms of identity, such as the politics of memory and popular culture, using both quantitative and qualitative methods (e.g., survey experiments, ethnography). Her dissertation analyzes how institutional memory shapes voting behavior through the comparative case studies of the United States and France.

Prior to joining BU, Estelle obtained an M.Sc. in Comparative Politics with Distinction from the London School of Economics (LSE) where she wrote her dissertation on football (“soccer”) and political mobilization.
