  • Starts: 2:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2025
  • Ends: 3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2025

Do you want to amplify your research to a broader audience?

On Tuesday, May 13 this virtual event will explore strategies and tools that can help you convey your impact to a wide range of audiences—including policymakers, funders, media, the public, and academic peers.

This event will be facilitated by David Flynn, senior research librarian at BU’s Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and will feature presentations from experts in impact analytics platforms, including Elsevier/SciVal, Overton, and Dimensions. Learn how these tools can help you quantify and enhance the visibility of your work using data-driven approaches supported by BU.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and explore how these platforms can be tailored to highlight the societal, academic, or economic impact of individual research.

This event is co-hosted by the Office of Research, BU Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine, the Initiative on Cities, the Center for Innovation in Social Science, and the BU College of Arts & Sciences and is open to the BU community.
