Laura Kerharo holds a B.A. in Political Science from San Jose State University. She joined the P.h.D. program in Political Science Fall 2023. Her main research focuses on the American carceral state, with special focus on queer theory and domestic torture. She has been published in the Themis Research Journal of Justice Studies and Forensic Science.
