Why are you interested in physics? Are there any topics within the field that most draw your attention?
I became interested in physics, specifically astrophysics and cosmology, when I started having big questions about the universe and realized these are the fields actively working to answer those questions. I am really fascinated by how our universe formed and how it continues to evolve. Outside of the cosmology domain I also really enjoy learning about quantum mechanics because it seemed so absurd to me when I first learned about it, which only makes me want to learn more.
What are you interested in outside of physics?
Outside of physics my hobbies include yoga, rock climbing, playing piano, reading, and playing board games. When I have more time I also like to bake and paint.
