Why did you choose BU?
I have always wanted to live in a city, and Boston is very welcoming with lots of charm and character.
Why are you interested in physics? Are there any topics within the field that most draw your attention?
I am most interested in Quantum Optics, Low temperature Physics, and Condensed Matter physics. I became interested in physics because I have always wanted to know “how things work”, and when you ask “How does this work” a few times in a row for any problem you find you need Quantum Mechanics! Studying physics has been a deeply rewarding (albeit challenging) experience for me.
What are you interested in outside of physics?
I love cooking, reading, rock climbing, and Disc Golf. When I have important projects due: I find I am incredibly interested in video games and other procrastination methods.
