Silicon Nanowire Field Effect Transistors (SiNW FETs) have gained popularity as biosensors due to their high sensitivity, label-free detection, and low power consumption. By detecting the changes in the electrical properties of the nanowire that occur when biomolecules such as proteins or DNAs bind to its surface, SiNW FETs can detect the presence of biological substances. In this study, we propose a frequency mixing schema for biomarker detection using SiNW FETs. Our preliminary tests demonstrate successful electrical detections of PBS solutions of varying concentrations and pH values. This applied schema has the potential to enhance the sensitivity and accuracy of SiNW FET-based biosensors, leading to more reliable and efficient detection of biological substances.
