The Payroll Office meets with international students, scholars, and visitors who are receiving compensation through the Payroll Office to determine an individual’s residency status for tax purposes as well as their eligibility for tax treaty exemptions. International students, scholars, faculty, and staff are requested to submit the required documents to nrapay@bu.edu.
Tax appointments may be scheduled if questions cannot be resolved through e-mail. To schedule an appointment, email nrapay@bu.edu with the following information:
- Full name
- BU ID number
- BU email address
A meeting invite via Microsoft Teams or Zoom will then be sent.
