Receiving a Boston University Payment with Candex
To facilitate your payment efficiently and without delay, Boston University has partnered with Candex, a trusted payment platform designed to simplify transactions with low-dollar, one-time, and occasional payees. As part of this process, you will receive an email invitation from Support@Candex.com with instructions to complete a brief registration and securely submit your payment request through their platform.
- Receive email from Candex: You will receive an email from Support@Candex.com notifying you of a payment authorization from Boston University in the Candex platform, with a link to request the payment.
- Register and accept payment: Create an account on the Candex platform, provide banking details, and upload your W-9. You can view the payment details which includes a description and the amount authorized to you. Accept the terms and conditions (if applicable) and the payment.
- Receive Payment: Upon successful registration, the payment will be sent to your designated bank account via ACH within 7 calendar days from the date of Candex’s invoice to Boston University, and Candex will pay you within 3 business days of receiving funds from BU.
- Check Payment Status: In the Candex platform, click on the “View” button from the Payments panel on the right side of the screen. The Payment Details panel displays a timeline of the current payment status and other information about your payment.
