Ye Liu is a Lead Instructional Designer at the Office of Distance Education at Boston University. She is passionate about pursuing excellence in teaching and learning for all modalities. She has earned the Online Teaching Certificate, Blended Course Design Certificate, and Advanced Online Teaching Certificate from Online Learning Consortium (OLC) and has presented her collaborative course design projects at OLC conferences. Her most recent work-in-process study and paper, co-authored with Professor Eric Braude, will be presented and published in the Sixth (2019) Learning @ Scale Conference.

The instructional design team Ye leads at BU supports one undergraduate program and several graduate online programs. She and her talented colleagues partner with faculty members to design, develop, and support online courses. Before joining BU, Ye has worked in the field of instructional design, faculty development, and course development in higher education since August 2008.
