Develop Skills in AI-Enabled Construction Management

The Graduate Certificate in Construction Management & Technology at Boston University’s Metropolitan College (MET) is designed to develop the specialized skills needed for leadership in construction and infrastructure projects. This innovative program integrates traditional project management with the latest advancements in digital project delivery, construction automation, and sustainability.

The Construction Management & Technology graduate certificate curriculum is aligned with the Project Management Institute Construction Professional (PMI-CP)™ certification, delivering practical, industry-relevant knowledge that supports career advancement and certification preparation. The program ensures that you get hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies such as Construction 5.0, digital twins, AI-powered tools, automation, and predictive analytics. You will gain experience in planning, organizing, and managing complex construction projects—preparing you for competitive roles in construction management and technology within the built environment.

All students have access to the Projects in the Built Environment (PB100-PM) preparatory lab—a self-paced, online, non-credit course developed by BU MET faculty and industry experts. This lab builds foundational skills and industry terminology, strengthening your preparation for advanced construction management coursework.
